06/25/2017 (170)

wendy~

Hi Callie,
Friday's weigh in was 170.0
Am on track with my fueling and lean/green meal, water intake and reading.
Not sure why it went up, but it wasn't much.
Started going on walks.

Just checking in.

Exercise will cause a stop or slight weight gain. It is initial just stay consistent and you will see a gradual
improvement.

I am beyond excited you are walking!!! That is a wonderful healthy choice. How do you feel when you
accomplish the walks?

Don't let the scale be the only determinant of health. Measurements and how you feel emotionally and
mentally are going to be great barometers too!

Congratulations!!

Noted. I was thinking for some reason, that we were supposed to start walking the second week. Maybe
because it said Habit of Motion on the journal pages, but I guess that was even on week ones journal pages.
I like to go for walks, it's just easy not to, i.e. the rain or hot weather. I feel relaxed after the walks. Not that I
have a need to relax..lol
Am I supposed to be measuring once a week as well?
I feel good. Week 2 was a little rough, craving wise, as my period ended (and for some reason I get crazy
teary for a few days after) and I was craving red licorice and a coke and layered bean dip..hahaha.  I like
bean dip on occasion, but I'm not sure where the licorice and coke thing came from. I don't ever eat those
things, if even once a year. It's not an issue now, craving wise, and I'm glad to be aware of what my body
 may do next month.
My taste buds seem to be changing though.
Things that I thought were really bland are actually starting to have quite a bit more flavor. :D

Wendy,
This is so great! I am so happy you are starting to feel those habits of health come through! You are an
inspiration; so calm, honest, and with the ability to move forward!

Do you have a plan on how you will get through all the 4th of July festivities? Let me know if I can help!

Measuring is going to be very helpful when you hit plateaus. I had a client whose weight did not change for 4
months but she lost 13 inches around her thighs during that time. So scale should not be your only
 measurement of success.

Keep at it! And have a wonderful holiday!

wendy~

Am not concerned about the holidays. We've got 2 birthdays, 2 grad parties and so far so good.
